I was doing gymnastics for couple of years but always loved swimming and water, so my parents thought I would like synchronized swimming which is really combination of both. I started synchro when I was 7 years old, participated in first national competitions at 10 and was competing on international level in Europe for Olomouc synchro club (Czech Republic) at the age of 13.Synchronized swimming is a sport that requires not only good swimming skills and flexibility but also a lot of strength, endurance and dedication. There are a lot of hours in the pool and also outside the pool (stretching, work out and choreography drill) to be worked so that you could achieve good results and also feel personal satisfaction. I believe synchronized swimming is a great sport to develop team spirit but also has a lot of potential for those that are looking for some individualism and personal goals.Myself, I found 2 very important things thanks to this awesome sport. Firstly, I found life lasting friends that I still spend a lot of time with. Secondly, I found sport passion that drives me and inspires me. I want to give young girls at least something of what I have learned during my active synchro career but mainly as a coach and judge. Maybe I will enable them to find their friends and passion for life.
